Beeswax becomes soft when heated, and solid when cold. The easiest way to remove beeswax from a candle plate is to put it in the fridge for a couple hours, and peel it off afterwards. If the beeswax is stuck on something bigger, try to dissolve it with boiling water and clean with some soap.
It is important to trim your wick before lighting the candle for the first time to about 7mm. When lighting for the first time, reach for the bottom of the wick, not the top. When your candle flame is too big, it means your wick is too long and you should trim it again. If your flame is nearly dying or you can’t manage to make your candle burn again, it means your wick is too short. Try to remove a little bit of wax around the edges of the wick and try lighting again.
